Jaquar dealer in Warangal, on the same street since 1985.

Buying Jaquar in Warangal

Jaquar is the bathroom brand most people in Warangal name first, and for good reason — it has been made in India since 1960, the spares are available, and a cartridge you buy today will still fit the mixer you installed five years ago. What is less obvious to a first-time buyer is how much the buying experience depends on where you buy it.

We have been trading on Jayaprakash Narayan Road since 1985, which is longer than most of the housing in Girmajipet has existed. In that time the single most common conversation we have is not about price. It is someone arriving with a photo on their phone, unsure whether the fitting they have seen online will actually work with the plumbing already in their wall. That question is much easier to answer across a counter than through a website.

What we stock

The fast-moving ranges are kept in the shop rather than ordered in. In practice that means:

• Faucets — single lever basin mixers, wall mixers, pillar taps, bib cocks and sink mixers, mostly in chrome, from ranges including Fusion, Aria, Alive, Continental and Clarion.
• Showers — hand showers, overhead and rain showers, body jets, and the concealed diverters and valves behind them.
• Sanitaryware — wash basins, wall-hung and one-piece WCs, rimless pans, bidets and urinals.
• Cisterns and flush plates — concealed cisterns, slim tanks for shallow walls, and the internal spares that keep them working.
• Water heaters — storage geysers, and the Integra and Integra-X heat pump systems for larger houses.

Anything not on the shelf is generally a day or two away. Less common finishes — black matt, gold, and the Prime range variants — are usually ordered rather than stocked, simply because most Warangal bathrooms are fitted in chrome.

Why an authorised dealer matters

Counterfeit bath fittings are a genuine problem in the Indian market, and they are convincing. The chrome looks right in the box. What differs is the cartridge inside, the wall thickness of the brass, and whether anyone will honour the warranty in two years when the spindle starts weeping.

Buying from an authorised dealer means the product came through the official distribution channel with the manufacturer warranty attached, and it means there is somebody in Warangal who will deal with a warranty claim rather than telling you to contact a helpline. We have been here forty years; we expect to still be here when your fitting needs a spare.

One spelling note

It is Jaquar, with a q — not Jaguar, which is a car. This catches people out constantly when searching, and it is worth getting right when you are comparing prices online, because the two return completely different results.

For plumbers and contractors

Most of our Jaquar volume goes to the trade. If you fit bathrooms across Warangal, Hanamkonda, Kazipet or Subedari, it is worth setting up trade rates with us once rather than negotiating per job. We will also hold stock back for a running site if you tell us what is coming up, which saves the trip when a delivery slips.

The other thing the trade uses us for is spares by the piece — cartridges, aerators, flush valve internals, wastes. A callback should not require a whole new mixer.
